Empowerment Through Words: How Conscious Ink is Transforming Daily Mindset with Wearable Affirmations
Founder Frank Gjata shares how Conscious Ink is using temporary tattoos, manifestation candles, and intention-based products to disrupt negative self-talk and empower individuals.
At Las Vegas Market 2025, Frank Gjata, Founder of Conscious Ink, shared the inspirational journey behind his brand and how it has evolved from a personal coaching tool into a global movement focused on mindfulness, resilience, and positive reinforcement.
“We’re not just a tattoo company—we’re an empowerment company,” Gjata said. “Conscious Ink was created as a way to help people interrupt self-defeating thoughts and recommit to their intentions in everyday life.”
A Product That Spreads Organically
Conscious Ink’s primary growth driver has been its visual, shareable nature.
“We have over 110,000 followers on Facebook and 35,000 on Instagram. Our tattoos are seen, shared, and talked about,” Gjata explained. “Word-of-mouth plays a huge role, whether through social media, a friend’s recommendation, or seeing someone wearing one.”
The brand has also benefited from high-profile endorsements, including a recent viral moment tied to best-selling author Mel Robbins.
“When her book went viral, so did our ‘Let Them’ tattoo. People love a concept they can physically wear as a reminder of their mindset,” Gjata said.

How Conscious Ink Works
Conscious Ink’s temporary tattoos last 3 to 7 days and are made with FDA-certified, non-toxic, cosmetic-grade ink.
“They go on in 30 seconds and come off just as easily,” Gjata explained. “The idea is that by seeing your affirmation daily, you’re reinforcing a positive shift in mindset.”
Customers use Conscious Ink for a range of personal journeys, from grief support and mindfulness to athletic motivation and cancer recovery.
“It’s incredible to see how people use our tattoos,” Gjata said. “We’ve created packs that support those going through chemo, grief, or mental health challenges, and we’ve even partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.”
Staying Authentic in a Competitive Space
With low barriers to entry, Gjata acknowledged that temporary tattoos can be easily copied—but mission and authenticity remain Conscious Ink’s strongest differentiators.
“We were the first to create temporary tattoos with an intentional purpose—before that, they were just for kids or novelty use,” Gjata said. “You can copy a product, but you can’t copy the soul behind it.”
Beyond product quality, customer testimonials tell the real story.
“Our average rating is 4.8 to 4.9 stars, and we receive heartfelt messages daily from people sharing how our tattoos have helped them,” Gjata said.
Evolving the Business: A New Go-To-Market Strategy
Conscious Ink initially launched in brick-and-mortar wholesale retail, but exploded as a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand.
“We rode the e-commerce wave for years, primarily selling through Facebook and Instagram,” Gjata said. “But with increasing digital ad costs, we’ve shifted back to brick-and-mortar retail expansion.”
Today, Conscious Ink is in over 1,000 retail stores nationwide and growing.
What’s Next? Expanding Beyond Tattoos
In 2024, Conscious Ink expanded into intention-based wellness products, including:
🕯️ Manifestation Candles – Each candle comes with an intention-setting prompt, using scent-memory association to reinforce a mindset shift every time it’s lit.
👕 Apparel with Subtle Affirmations – Hoodies and sweatshirts with embroidered words like "Inhale" and "Exhale" to serve as daily mindfulness cues.
💌 Greeting Cards with Tattoos – Blending words of encouragement with wearable affirmations.
“We’ve always had a vision to go beyond tattoos and create a full ecosystem of intention-based products,” Gjata said. “We’re just getting started.”
Final Thoughts
With its unique blend of mindfulness, self-expression, and personal transformation, Conscious Ink is redefining wearable affirmations.
“Our mission is simple,” Gjata said. “To help people see, feel, and live their intentions—every single day.”
